Sentry Air Systems Model 300 Desktop Fume Extractor with Lid provides a benchtop fume control solution for soldering, capsule filling, solvent and epoxy fume, powder filling, R&D Research and Development, light grinding and a variety of applications involving chemical fumes and dusts. The adjustable wing flaps allow the operator to easily move them to suit their application. When used with the acrylic lid, the Desktop Fume Extractor creates a hood-like enclosure protecting the operator from fumes and particulate. The wing flaps, lid, and powerful fan work together to direct fumes into the filtration system away from the operator’s breathing zone. After filtration, the system releases the air back into the surrounding room creating a recirculating air flow pattern.

Applications: chemical fume extraction, soldering, pharmaceutical applications like powder and capsule filling, R&D Research and Development, solvent and epoxy fume control, and many other applications that involve VOC fumes and dusts.

The Winged Sentry is a compact benchtop air filtration system that provides a highly energy-efficient, quiet and economical solution to many fume extraction needs. It features adjustable wings to assist in directing fumes towards the unit inlet and into the filter chamber. The operator can place these wings in the most effective position for their particular application, or they can be positioned flat against the sides of the unit to conserve space. Appropriate filtration media is installed in the Winged Sentry based on the application being performed by the operator. HEPA [up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 microns and larger], ASHRAE [up to 95% efficient on particles 0.5 microns and larger], Activated Carbon, and specialty-blended media [i.e. Acid Gas, Mercury, Aldehyde, Ammonia] are the most common filters for this unit.
