This set of 5 medium activated carbon replacement exhaust filters with 3-month timers reduces toxic fumes and odors from HPLC waste. The filters fit port caps with a 1/4" female NPT thread, and can be used with various adapters, including the popular flexible adapter WF-FLEXI-12 for an adjustable location. Choose standard filters or filters with the color-change indicator from the drop-down menu.

Active Solvent Adsorption

Reduce toxic fumes and noxious odors from HPLC solvent waste by capturing vapor onto activated carbon. Suitable for continuous flow of solvent vapor on analytical or semi-preparative HPLC instruments, these filters are constructed of HDPE and polypropylene and attach to point-source emissions through the 1/4" NPT female port at the receiving end of the filter, using various connectors and adapters.

Replacement Timer

Each filter includes a single-use 3-month timer. Once installed, press the button on the timer to start a 3-month countdown. This is not real-time detection, but it offers a practical timeline and an estimated end of service life.

Optional Color-Change Indicator

For precise end-of-service-life detection, or for use with normal-phase or aggressive solvents, choose the optional color-change chemical-breakthrough indicator model. The marker turns orange once organic solvents have broken through the carbon filter barrier, alerting you that it is time to replace the filter.

Important: Carbon filter service life depends on the solvent, vapor load, flow and temperature. Replace filters at the end of the timer period or sooner if odors are noticed or the indicator changes color.
