Whatman™ GD/X™ Syringe Filter, 25 mm, Cellulose Acetate (CA), 0.45 µm (1500/case) — a high-capacity syringe filter with a built-in multi-layer, graded-density glass microfiber prefilter stacked ahead of a 0.45 µm cellulose acetate membrane. The prefilter train lets GD/X process far larger volumes of hard-to-filter, high-particulate samples than a standard single-membrane filter before clogging.

The CA membrane is hydrophilic with very low protein binding, ideal for aqueous and biological samples.
