Color-Coded HPLC Solvent Delivery Port Caps for GL45 Bottles, 4-Pack: Built-In Air Inlet Valve, Choose EPDM or FFKM Valve Seal

These color-coded solvent delivery kits are designed for HPLC mobile phase in quaternary HPLC systems (4 bottles). Each of the four caps has a different colored collar, so users can quickly tell the solvent bottles apart. Every cap is a closed-system kit with a built-in check valve, plugs and fittings for 1/8" OD tubing. Choose the standard EPDM valve seal or the FFKM / Chemraz® upgrade from the drop-down menu.

Volatile organic solvents are essential for HPLC, UHPLC and LC-MS, but open reservoirs release vapors and lose solvent. These Solvent Extraction and Delivery Port Caps keep each mobile phase in a closed system while letting clean air in as solvent is pumped out.

Designed for GL45 Glass Media Bottles

The GL45 screw thread is widely used on laboratory media bottles, including borosilicate glass bottles used for mobile phase preparation. GL45 closures have a nominal 45 mm thread diameter and are not interchangeable with GL38 or 38-430 closures. Verify bottle thread compatibility before installation.

PTFE Insert and Anti-Twist Design

Constructed of inert PTFE, the center of the cap provides ideal chemical compatibility with laboratory solvents. Under normal use, the outer polypropylene collar is non-wetted. To prevent twisting of tubing when the cap is removed or attached, the inner body rotates independently of the outer collar.

Built-In Air Inlet Valve: Choose Your Seal

The standard evaporation valve seal is EPDM, ideal for reverse phase HPLC solvents. Upgrade to an FFKM / Chemraz® valve seal for more aggressive, normal phase solvents. As solvent is pumped from each bottle, the valve admits replacement air to prevent vacuum build-up while minimizing evaporation.
