This 2.5 liter (84 oz) amber glass jug has a pour-out 38-439 neck finish and a black ribbed phenolic cap with F217 PTFE liner. Inert and ideal for aggressive chemical applications; fits EF-4-38GL and EF-8-38GL.
84oz (2500ml) Amber Glass Jug with Pour Out 38-439 neck finish and a Black Ribbed Phenolic Cap with F217 & PTFE Liner. Amber colored glass reduces the amount of light received by the contents but still allows the user to see the liquid level.
F217 & Teflon® Lined Caps with F217 foam and PTFE liners resist attack from virtually all chemicals at room temperature and provides resilience for a tight seal with a low moisture transmission rate. F217 has a low density foam core between two solid layers of LDPE. Uses include: Analytical lab samples, high purity chemicals, strong acids, solvents, environmental samples, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostic reagents.
